They are particularly studied to offering to the shipbuilder:
- height and inclination versatily
- quick mounting
- stock availability
The sizing is in compliance with the Rules of the Italian Naval Register for pleasure-boats.
The used material is our OT.MAN alloy with the following mechanical characteristics:
T>535 N/mm2 Y>220 N/mm2 E>25%
They are supplied with Radice hydrolubrificated rubber bearings fitted in.
These are easily intechangeable by loosing the two lock-grains. To mount the struts you must:
- make a slit on the building or on the still existing hulls
- position the strut when mounting the shaft line
- close and reinforce with resin the strut/hull joint area
