They are manufactured for steel boats and their sizing is in compliance with the Rules of the Italian Naval Register.
The material we used is steel Fe 510 Dalmine/ST.52M or similar, with the following mechanical characteristics:
T>510 N/mm2 Y>355 N/mm2 E>20%
They are supplied with Radice hydrolubrificated rubber bearings fitted in.
These are easily intechangeable by loosing two screws.
To mount the struts you must:
- make two suitable brackets of definite length
- weld the brackets to the specific hull plates
- weld the two struts brackets to the hull bottom
